Pirates in the real world are not romantic. They are thieves, murderers, plunderers who will do everything they can to get what they want from innocent men and women. And why? Some have empires to maintain while others have villages and families in desperate need of their bounty, hoping what they bring home can sustain their way of life. These are the people big corporations equate everyone who's ever downloaded a song without paying to and have treated with equal disdain and fiery anger.
